Saar Manche is based in the Netherlands where she works across oil paint, earth pigments, plant dyes and textiles and creates paintings and textile works in an often muted, but colourful pallet.
In her artworks she explores the boundaries between the seen and the unseen, what can be touched and the untouchable, between what we carry with us and who we are now. In this quest nature and femininity play a fundamental role.
Saar graduated in Museology at the Amsterdam University of the Arts and History at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
